In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15th – October 15th) Penske Automotive Group would like to recognize the many contributions of Hispanic Americans across our organization.
This week, we highlight some of our team members and Penske Automotive Dealerships across the country, and their celebrations and recognition of the importance of Hispanic Heritage Month.
Faustino “Chico” Febus, Inventory Manager at Toyota Turnersville
Faustino is the Inventory Manager at Toyota Turnersville and has been with PAG for over 6 years. The most important things in Faustino’s life are ‘His family, friends, and faith.’
Olga Cotos, Internet Manager at Audi Eatontown
Olga is the Internet Manager at Audi Eatontown and has been with PAG just over a year. Olga is of Peruvian decent, and her favorite Peruvian dish is Tallarines Verde which is the Peruvian version of pesto pasta.
Roberto Gonzalez, Jr., Parts and Service Department at BMW of Turnersville
Roberto works in the parts and service department at BMW of Turnersville and has been with PAG for over a decade. Roberto is originally from Puerto Rico, he grew up helping around his grandfather’s store and farm, relishing the beautiful beaches and woods with his friends.
Yasser Yaffar, Finance Department Administrator at Audi Eatontown
Yasser is the Finance Department Administrator at Audi Eatontown. Yasser has been with PAG for almost 6 years. When he’s not working, you can find Yasser boxing at the gym or playing soccer with friends.
Ediberto “Bert” Quinones, Used Car Manager at Nissan Turnersville
Bert is the Used Car Manager at Nissan Turnersville and been with PAG for 10 years. In his down time, he loves to play dominos and pool. Dominos is a ritual at his Mother’s house, his family plays every Sunday.
Sol Rocha, Receptionist at Honda Turnersville
Sol is a receptionist at Honda Turnersville and has been with PAG for 5 years. Sol has lived in New Jersey for 27 years and is the proud Mom of two Latin girls who speak 100% Spanish.
Christian Melendez, Sales Consultant at Land Rover Monmouth
Christian is a Sales Consultant at Land Rover Monmouth and has been with PAG for 6 years. In his spare time, Christian loves to workout, go hiking and try new restaurants.
Edwin Robles, Finance Manager at Gateway Toyota
Edwin is the Finance Manager at Gateway Toyota and has been with PAG just over 1 year. Edwin is from Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico and enjoys getting together with close family and having parties, which is traditional in the Puerto Rican culture.
Julio Arevalo, Flat Rate Technician at Land Rover Monmouth
Julio is a Flat Rate Technician at Land Rover Monmouth and had been with PAG for 9 years. Julio’s interests include his passion for automotive work, his side gig as a DJ, and his collection of sneakers.
Palm Beach Toyota
The team at Palm Beach Toyota celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with a breakfast catered by a local Latin restaurant, Melao Bakery. Also, the dealership donated to the local Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Audi Eatontown, Jaguar Land Rover Monmouth and Porsche Monmouth
The team members at Audi Eatontown, Jaguar Land Rover Monmouth and Porsche Monmouth enjoyed a sweet treat in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. A Churro Bar was provided by Sweet Love NJ.
DC Area Dealerships (Audi Chantilly, Audi Tysons Corner, Land Rover Annapolis, Mercedes-Benz Chantilly, Mercedes-Benz of Tysons Corner, Porsche Tysons Corner and Tysons Corner Collison Center).
PAG’s DC area dealerships enjoyed a lunch provided by local food truck, La Tingeria.
The DC area dealerships also raised funds for Nueva Vida, a nonprofit organization in the DMV region, that specializes in providing support to Latino families, affected by cancer. Nueva Vida provides free, comprehensive, and culturally competent services to Latinas with or at high-risk breast cancer.
